BIO

Kylie Rebecca Sargant, also known as Kylee Kate Sargant, is a renowned Australian singer, actress, and performer. Born in Sydney, she began her musical journey at a young age, singing and playing the trumpet and piano from the ages of four and eight respectively. Her high school education was at Cheltenham Girls High School, where she performed in school and community orchestras in some of the most important theatres in Sydney, including her debut at the Sydney Opera House.
While pursuing her undergraduate degree in Languages and Music at the University of Sydney, Kylie began studying classical voice and became the youngest member of the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs at the time. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree and participated in the Sydney Olympics with the Sydney Philharmonic Choirs in 2000, performing the Berlioz “Te deum.” In 2001, she sang and performed with them in the concerts and CD recording of the Barbra Streisand “Timeless” tour.
In August of that year, Kylie was accepted as a pupil by the famous Australian soprano Jane Edwards. Then in 2002, Kylie joined the prestigious sacred music choir of St. James Church, Sydney as a principal soprano and regularly performed for official government ceremonies and exclusive concerts throughout Australia.
In 2003, Kylie moved to Italy for love and began studying modern Italian music and the Italian “romanza.” She also broke into the Italian entertainment world as an actress and model, working in television variety shows, commercials, Ad campaigns, and fashion shows. Kylie signed a record contract, adopting the name Kylee Kate Sargant, and released a classical crossover project produced by leading Italian radio, Radio Italia, with the Italian singer Andrea del Principe called “Buonanotte Amore.”
The album marked the beginning of an international “pop-opera” adventure for the duo, with Kylee Kate representing Italian music all over the world. Some highlights include representing Italy in Beijing, China for the 2008 Summer Olympics, headlining international and national tours, and supporting concert tours of famous Italian artists such as Umberto Tozzi, Gianni Morandi, and Al Bano.
Kylie continues to be in demand and performs regularly throughout Europe with her solo and group projects. In addition to her concert performing and Italian TV appearances, she has also been in demand as a writer and arranger for fellow crossover artists and groups. She is currently the official vocal arranger and member of the famous Italian soprano group, Le Div4s, who perform and tour regularly with Andrea Bocelli.
